Death Fund
Standing with a member's family in their hardest moment.
The Death Fund is KSB's way of standing with a member's family at the hardest time. When a Life Member passes away, the Fund provides Rs. 15,000 to the nominee named on the membership form: Rs. 5,000 is given on the funeral day itself, and the balance of Rs. 10,000 is paid once the death certificate is produced.
There is no separate contribution; the cover is part of Life Membership.
Available on the passing of a Life Member of KSB.
Paid to the nominee named on the member's membership application.
Associate Members and members who joined above the age of 60 are not covered by the Death Fund.
Rs. 15,000 in total. Rs. 5,000 on the funeral day, and Rs. 10,000 after the death certificate is submitted, paid by crossed cheque in the nominee's name.
Inform the KSB office of the member's passing; the initial Rs. 5,000 is provided on the funeral day.
Obtain the Death Fund application form below or from the office.
Submit the completed form with the death certificate and the nominee's bank details, within six months of the date of death.
The balance amount is settled by crossed cheque in the nominee's name, typically within a week of submission.
