Welfare Schemes
Looking after the community, in sickness, in study, and in sorrow.
KSB is a community trust, and welfare has been part of its purpose from the beginning. These schemes exist so that no member of the community faces a medical crisis, an educational barrier, or a bereavement alone. Some schemes support those in genuine financial need, others are open to all members. Each scheme page explains exactly who it serves and how to apply.
Read the scheme page to confirm the scheme fits your situation.
Download the application form, or collect it from the office.
Gather the supporting documents listed on the scheme page.
Submit everything at the KSB office. The relevant committee reviews and responds.
Most welfare schemes serve KSB members and their immediate families.
Some schemes are means-tested and are intended for those in genuine financial need.
Specific criteria vary by scheme, and each scheme's page lists them exactly.
Final discretion on every application rests with the relevant fund committee.
Ready to apply, or have a question about a scheme? The KSB office will help, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. All welfare application forms are on the Forms & applications page.
